I have been working on fighters for the last 6 months . I have a few protos out.
Here is a special order that has a bigger guard and longer blade. This is 9 in blade contoured handle. The sheath was made by my son Bob.
The standard types are just under 7 inches.
The steel choices are cpm3v and forged 52100.

DDR,

Can you give us a estimated price for one of these babies?

The one pictured was 650.00 It was a special
9 in blade made for dual purpose some chopping and protection.
The 6.9 in blade (standard) is 395.00 with the sheath.
It comes with the sheath,cpm3v and green and black handles. Very thin edge for slicing (this is not a chopper). It does the rope hanging test like it was not there (almost)..
The blade has a great machine satin finish.
I have also contacted Larry Harley. One option is black ti ni and nickel for blade protection. I will also do wood handles for those who want them.
The design has been updated. The top guard is forward more for better thumb control in a fighting situation. The handle follows the guard.
The grind is a full flat grind within .125 of the top . The top edge can be false or sharp towards the front.
The blade thickness is around 3/16.
I will also entertain a blade length of 4-5 inches.
Also they come (as Jerry Fisk says) sharp enough to shave the fuzz of a mouse's nutz.
Thanks

The one at the show was a proto. I have made some changes for the thumb ramp and made the blade wider. The one above is a longer and wider one.

Thanks Burke
They are contoured on the sides also for a palm swell. there are three things about a straight knife that I feel has to addressed.
1. The handle has to be great and built for the purpose the knife is intended.
2. The carry system. I am offering this knife with a rig system as an option also.. :]
The sheath is multi carry . The kydex liner comes out and can be used with a body rig or for IWB carry.
3. The blade has to perform the intended purpose.
Thanks :]
