I know nothings more annoying than having some bratt suggest ya do somthing that isnt your bread and butter style..but i would personally go ape**** nuts if a rustic hammered finish was an option one day. I swear i saw a busse with that once... could be wrong.
What do you guys think?

Yes, there were a few CS/Ganza blades that had hammered flats. I think Jaxx has one?

That would be awesome, something about 6-8" blade length, 3/16. Maybe something like an anorexic forsaken steel heart or SFNO... or the HOG Badger. It would look like you snatched it from 1860. I'll add to the annoying brat chorus :p

Form follows function my man... I don't see the point.

Sometimes we do things that just look cool.

I mean who in their right mind would pay extra to have a sheath look beat up ????

Thankfully a bunch of folks :)

Beauty is in the eye of the Busse holder ;)

I'd love a Busse with rustic hammered flats and some nice wood slabs. Oh yeah, that would be awesome. Thinking Aias Aias is right on with the HOG Badger or an ASH2. Also couldn't go wrong with any of the Mandus. For the cool factor a V8 without the fuller would be sick.

The hammered finish was used for a Ganza. It looked great and it was an especially good finish for those SHe2's. That was one ugly batch of INFI.

I guess same reason they put a beautiful satin finish on a blade, or build beautiful custom handles on a custom. Stitched tattoo skin or gunpowder burnt sheaths.. but ya.. doesnt necessarily improve function.
