Last night I took apart my 42s to clean and got the urge to polish the blade, well that took about 3 hours with a dremel tool, a cotton wheel, and some polishing compound. After hours of getting these
and
looks from my yobo, I reassembled the expensive gift she gave me for my birthday.
It looked great!!!
I wake up this morning with a desire to continue where I left off. Now the blade is nice and shiney, but I want it to look nice when it's closed too! So I polished the flat sides of the handles (not the skeletal sides) and latch only, it looked great too!
but for some reason I did'nt want to stop so I ended up doing the whole damn thing!
I did not want to put a mirror finish on the handles so as to destroy the grip, but it is very shiney and you can clearly see the grindlines in the both the handles and blade. If I can ever figure out how to post a pic I will.
