Picked up both recently. Should be a nice combo for fishing.

Heck ya... I've never seen the Rapala pliers before. Look like they are nicely made, and comfortable
 
I've never seen Rapala pliers either...looks like the jaws are off set somewhat..looks handy! Nice blade too!!!
 
Congrats on the Salt:thumbup:. I thought production would run a little longer than it did. It still pops up on my wish list once in a while.

The model name is AlumaPro. I've eyeballed them for a while, but they're expensive (~$50).
Found them on sale locally though, and they rang up even less than I thought.
Got 'em for $18 and change. I got the last one on the display.

You don't know how hard I worked to find that yellow PE.
I went 25 pages deep into Google, checking every possibility. Numerous emails.
I finally found one in Canada. :p The SE is still very accessible though.

if i can find those pliers i will get one...that looks like the perfect fishing pliers...
 
i checked the only one in the area; no dice. online you can find them, but at full retail...@ around $20 i'll do it, but around $40 it might not be the best/smartest value...i'll keep looking...
 
pilote, I checked another location in my area. Nothing.
Didn't even have a spot on the rack for them where all the other Rapala fishing gear was hanging.
Sales clerk told me some stores sometimes get clearance overstock that other stores don't.
