Hi Everyone,

After all the wedding celebration, I'm finally able to complete another knife and sheath project.

Here are the specs:
  • Damascus steel in a ladder pattern
  • 9 in OAL
  • Stabilized Lace Wood
  • Buffalo horn bolsters
  • Knickel-silver pins
  • Butcher's oil finish
The sheath is 8-9oz veg tanned shoulder. I used water based dies, and some black acrylic paint for the lettering. This is my 8th knife and sheath. A special thanks to Paul for all his encouragement and information. I feel like this is my best so far.

I've gotten a lot of great input from the gang here on aesthetics and construction. I'm interested in any feedback or recommendations you may have.

Very nice looking combo, congrats.
I'm not a fan of the drilled holes for stitching, but aside from that it looks very nice.

Hi Ray ban, I used too thick a drill bit on this one, no doubt.

I've used a drill bit myself on occasion....I use a 3/64" bit and it ends up being more of a pilot hole for my awl.
The awl is actually bigger than the hole so I still end up with a diamond shaped stitching hole.
