New fixed blade finished.

This is my most recent creation, and I thought I'd show it to the traditional folks. The blade is made by a local blade smith. The handle is a birch burl, the bolster is brass and the piece between the two is moose antler. There are thin leather spacers between the parts.

It doesn't have a sheath yet, but I'll take care of that in a few days.
 
Nice work! The bolster and antler are a very nice touch looks great!
 
What happened to the blade at the belly? The edge looks a bit rippled.

The damage to the edge happened when I was working on it. I just haven't sharpened yet. It wont get much use until the sheath is done.

Here's a picture comparing it to a couple of familiar knives to many, a #15 and a #23.
