Hey those new Gov-tacs and Tech Bowies look hot. I like the coatings. How come in some pics the washers look white and grey in others. Why so cheap? Anybody know the blade thicknesses of these?

When are they going to do the Tigershark in this style? ;)

It's strange that the "Special Edition" of the Gov-tac would be bead-blasted while the regular model is coated.
 
Hopefully I can explian a little about the whole washer thing. When were frist thinking aobut the knives, the Gov-Tav and Daggerts, they were to have white and red washers. After getting prototypes and a little feedback we decided to change them to grey and black. So we released some images with the white/red washers and then had to release a second set of images with the grey/black washers. This is one of the unfortunate things that happens when dealing with prototypes and preproduction models for photography, things almost always change from the prototype and final production version.

The thickness of the Gov-Tac and Daggert knives are .200" and the Tech Bowie is .240".
