new flaslights.

Nice choices, but I wouldve gotten a seperate LED light instead of the LED bezel. I change my mind on the 556 and 705 and want to get a 710HS now, and the 705 later on. Good luck. ;)

What? No batteries?:D

I just ordered myself a G2 with 12 SF batteries. I'm anxiously awaiting it's arrival. Nope, no package today:(

I've ordered batteries from Surefire and had no problem. they've got the best price I've seen so far, except for a Light Site that had 5 off-brand that I've never heard of batts for $4.
I don't remember the site though, sorry.

The G2 with the P61 LA is going to kick butt; I know you're going to enjoy that one. The Arc AAA is definitely a winner, too. The Arcs are very well made and very, very useful. With regard to the KL3, I'm still trying to make up my mind whether, in general, it's better to get one of the KLx bezels for my Sure Fires, or whether, as mistakaroo suggests, it might be better just to get another LED light. An L4, for example .... ;)

G2Z BK + P61 Bulb is a cool combo but I don't recommand the KL3 ever since I got mine. It's a bit too bulky and the light color is pretty blue.

I've had excellent experiences ordering from Surefire. Their $1.25/SF123A is unbeatable. If you order more than $99, the shipping is free too. I ordered a box of 72 + a box of 12, which came out to $105. :D

Excellent choice on the G2Z + P61. The Pyrex lens on the G2Z lets you use that P61 with abandon. This combo is my EDC and I couldn't be happier. Although I like my L4 very much (carry it in my backpack), the L4 can't quite replace the G2Z for personal security purposes. :D

Ryan,

I think you made a great selection -- hope you like them all.

Also, I'm glad to hear you are going to get some batteries. That P61 lamp in your G2Z will eat them pretty fast. My G2Z with the P61 sure does; but, the light output sure is impressive for a small, 6V
flashlight.

The KL3 is supposed to be fully compatible with the G2/G2Z but there have been compatibility issues.
If you do run into a problem you may have to tweak the spring on the KL3 to make sure it contacts the metal sleeve of the G2Z.

I just got my first SureFire this week-end, a C2. Next I'll get an M3!!! Oh baby....

Actyally, next I'll get a box of batteries, a P-61 bulb, and a spares carrier :)

Just got my first SureFire on Thursday. It is a G2 and I'm VERY impressed. Now all I need is a spares carrier and a holster. And a couple more lights...:D
