Here are some pics of my new flipper, the "Helix"! The blade is .156 thick x 4.250 long S-30V. This knife is full of VooDoo!

I'm a sucker for precision and good design. I had the opportunity to handle and photograph this particular knife. It's dangerous for me to do such, as I can fall prey to the little voices in me that say:
"You *really* want this one--and you deserve it. What do you mean, you have NO flipper folders? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???!!"

I think THAT is the Voodoo he is talking about!

This one had a LOT of 'Voodoo'...and so Larry is sending my very own this way in a few weeks. :D Thanks!

LOL congrats Larry and Coop. I am just sitting here thinking about how smooth the action is on that puppy. Something like butter against butter is about the only way I can describe VooDoo.

Glad to see you back into the swing of things!!!

And of course gorgeous as usual......

Larry, that's about as cool a folder as I have seen in a long time. It is stunningly attractive, but doesn't look like it is just a pretty face. It looks rugged as well.

What really worked for me was that tricky guard. You see how it looks in the closed position? That flipper can also be used very easily as a thumb opener, feeling much like the spyderco hole opener. Walks around nice and slow, and gentlemanly.

But when you want some action, just flick that flipper and give the wrist a twist and that Voodoo shoots it around like lightning. More fun than a barrel of monkeys... :p

Larry,

Are ya gonna do that in a D/A? It's already about as bad as they come but that would be waaaay over the top!!!

Thanks,

Dudley

You bet there will be a D/A version! Before that will be the super size covert spitfire though.

I will get them to Coop so he can do his photo magic on them as well. I must say I am blown away by the tri-view shot. I have been trying to take pics of my knives as long as I have been making them but I don't even come close to this stuff. I will stick to making knives and let Coop bring them to the web :D

Thanks Larry, I'm pleased you like my images. Whatever you need, I'll be there to help! :)

Now you're talkin'! I just did score a Spitfire Covert and I must say that it's the most intriguing D/A I've ever owned.

A Super Size would be awesome!!!!!!! :D

I rec'd my folder yesterday. As you might imagine, it is every bit as clean and precise as the prototype, if not better.

Larry even added a little bit of grip to the guards with small notched cuts.

The action is the quickest draw of *any* of my manual knives. Rivals an auto.

Overall two thumbs up! Many thanks to Les and Larry for the opportunity.

ok, its nice............but wtf is that piece of metal next to the lock, behind the blade, in the open position???????????????????????????
