New folder for EDC?

My Delica is out of commission for a bit (haven't figured how to get one finicky screw out) and I lost my Boker Trance. Does anybody have any recommendations for a new EDC folder to pick up? I will be using it for around-the-house maintenance work as well as for general outdoors use (hiking and the like).

What I'm looking for:
- $125 or less. I don't want to have to worry my ass off about losing or using the thing, but I also don't want to have a hunk of junk that breaks after a few uses.
- single-hand opening (thumb hole or stud), but no assisted opening or springs
- frame lock
- The blade can be at the very most 3", although I'd definitely prefer it to be just under 3" for legality issues.
- fine edge
- pocket clip that can be used for tip-up carry
- good fingerguard/bladeguard & grip

Thanks for any recommendations you can give.

Persistence, Paramilitary (just a hair over, sharpen it and it will be under 3"), Dragonfly, or another Delica.

I don't know the blade lengths of the Kershaw line up, but you could also go Mini Grip, Leek, Needs Work, JYD I.

id guess that kershaw and benchmade have framelocks that will fit your needs.

Missed the framelock requirement. :o

I think all assisted kershaws can have the torsion bar removed to make them nonassisted, something to consider. I think the original JYD I had a framelock model.

Interesting requirements.

Kershaw OD-1 maybe? Not hole or thumbstud opened, but not assisted either. Lots cheaper than your limit. Check it out.

Take a look at the Kershaw Storm (1470). Thumb stud, frame lock, 3", tip up option, 4 ounces, Sandvik 13C26, 410 stainless frame with Trac tec inserts on the non lock side, and about $35. A lot of knife for the money.

The OD-1 also has a Hinderer lock stabilizer, the pocket clip in that picture is covering it up.
