We'll debut it at the show so you'll have to wait until Friday for the rest of the pics.....Or Thursday if we can't wait that long! :D
 
Looks like one wide blade! I like that pivot design as well. Cannot wait to see the rest- C'mon, post 'em! :D

The prototypes will be sporting some "optional" hardware that wouldn't be on a production model if such a thing would come to fruition. We would use common hardware so field maintenance would not be an issue.

The pivot is bigger than the xm but again the screw on the proto won't be the normal one on the production version.

That rules. Looks like a smaller choil so it should have a longer cutting edge. I can't wait. In with the lottery?

Rob and Rick just touched on this. The pic shows a prototype.

My guess----if it is offered for sale, it will be very unique (read into that what you want, I'm implying it may be <difficult to say> kept in a safe). If it is just for "show-n-tell";... then...you, me, and everyone else has no need for a new tool.

They said more than once that any potential production models will sport something different. Only then will we discover if a new tool is necessary.
 
Yea, I sort of read that but didn't put that together....
But they are saying the pivot is bigger so even if they don't change it, it may still need a new because of the size...
 
I told my XM, "I only have eyes for you" but, she can't access the computer (no thumbs).
Can't wait to see photos of the NEW Hinderer Folder!...... "What sweetie, who am I talking to? Nobody, be right there"

Wow, I can't wait to see the full knife. Hinderer adding another production folder to the lineup is huge!!
Wonder if it will be sporting the spanto tip.
 
Man I tell ya, this is why I love Hinderer!
Thoughtful, innovative designs. New pivot for the custom version, easier design for production version. Keep up the good work. My wallet hates you guys. :)
