I recently attended the American Bladesmith School class for making folding knives taught by ABS Mastersmith John Perry. Having attended the class, I now have even more respect for the hard work and creativity shown by the knife makers who are producing all of the outstanding custom traditional folders.

Even though I was certainly not the most talented student, I did manage to complete a nice trapper in camel bone and single blade folder in armadillo.

Check out the ABS School!

Cheers,

I've managed to complete another knife. I really admire the Bose shadow bolster folders, so I made my own shadow bolster folder. It measures 4.125" closed has G-10 scales and a ATS-34 Spey blade and backspring.

Now I have to order some more ATS-34 and Stainless liner material to make some more. The next one will have a clip blade. So much to learn.....
