Looks really good! I'm glad that it appears to be a full tang and not the stick tang like the stag LE.

Finally! Looks like this'll be the first fixed blade I pick up this year. Did it say when they're actually being released?

This is a quote from Larry Oden.

"Typically, the items ordered in January are built and shipped in February, March and April
with an occasional hold up that goes longer than that."

Buck read my mind bringing the 124 back with black micarta. Excellent news.

I was wishing for this and with micarta handle too! This is a must, must, have. I can't wait for this one.

Oh,that is splendid news!!I've been bummed for years that Buck quit making the 124.I know for sure I will be getting one or two of those. Now,if only the General would be put into regular production again, all would be right in the world. The 124 will be regular production, won't it?

Typically, how long does it take to get on the Buck website so a person can order one? I need one and a 120 - can we get it released again soon?

The 124 is in the "Legacy" catalog so I doubt that this one will be regular production and will only be available in limited numbers.

You as a BCCI member, can order from Larry Oden, see post 3. Judging from past history, they may never be available on the web site. :(

I would like to know if they will go to distributors or will you have to get one from Buck directly? I would like to buy two or three to be honest, hell I would like to buy 10 if I could. I let this pass me by when I was younger, I won't let that happen again.

Send Larry Oden an e-mail.

Thanks Plumber for the 124 photo. It looks like the older model w/ the E2K grind. Should slice well. DM

heck dat taint the new one i dont think ...
no date code ... must be a pic of one o them in de display case on the 2ed floor ..
ya knows some times dey take pictures of expermental or one like it will be...
heck i bet the tang stamp might be on the other side!!!
now would that not make it a reallllll collllllectable!!!

Well dave, how many Legacy or Limited Editions have you seen with date codes on them? I think it would be nice if they did it just as shown with a stamp on the opposite side, but I'll bet they come with the custom shop stamp.
