Hay stabber as a blacksmith I have a cure for Tennis elbo go to the shop everyday and hammer until it hurts then hammer for another hour do this every day until it stops hurting. It worked for me I know it sounds crazy but it did work. PS I am not a doctor

Ricky,
If you are looking to find a 25 lb. power hammer to buy, Robert Nelson Parker mentioned he has a Little Giant to sell when I spoke with him at Blade.

I picked up a forge just like that at a church yard sale a while back. The firebrick on the door was held in with electrical tape. I paid $25 for it.

I still haven't figured out the hole in the top, other than exhaust. The housing has buckled a bit around the hole as a result of heat.

You can go online to the company's website that made it. The newer models are computer controlled but very similar in appearance.

Mr Lish, It does sound crazy! I used to do siding and roofing for near 30 yrs. I had many problems then. I wrecked my Elbow by poundin out near 20 blades in two weeks before I gave Indian Georges forge that he so graciously loaned me back. Are you certain this works? I'm goin on ten weeks still in pain. Not terrible, but not normal. I'll forge 20 blades tonight if this works:D

Hi Peter, the Power Hammer I'm getting on a loan for a long whil. Thanks for the heads up.

Gene, The hole on the top you can do a chimney to get rid of the CO2. I'll check out the Johnson site to see what's up. the electric tape lasted till you fired it up:D

That's a serious looking forge Ricky, can it accommodate your affection for giant blades?

You're getting a real shop together, way to go bro!

thanks Eli! Hoping to have the bench built and everything ready to work before the end of this month.

There is a port hole in the back of the forge but the fire brick needs to be notched to send the "beasts" through it;) I'll get that sorted out also:thumbup:

There goes the peace and tranquility in the neighborhood......Now its ping ping ping all stinking night.......Just don't burn down the friggen barn.....

Ricky, nice find! Looks like your getting your gear together!

I hope the recommended therapy works for your elbow!

I tried forging today. I can't do it with my Elbow like this. I have not Forged a blade in 12 weeks. Figured that was enough rest but I guess not :(
