Here are a few pics of the new forge my father in law built up for me. Mighty generous of him. It's 6" pipe about 14" long. He put a chimminey on it with threads so I can reduce it if need be. The reason it's bolted together is so I can replace the cer wool if it gets to beat up. I still need to get a burner made up though. Anyone know about natural gas burners? Is the hole smaller than propane or bigger. I have an old natural gas one and was wondering about drilling it out. I have the hose, reg, and fittings for propane and just need the burner now. I have a tiger torch but it's kinda big for this unit.

I agree with Keven. That is way to nice to forge in. That forge looks like it could go in a 5 star resturant. Really nice. Enjoyed seeing it.

Natural gas is under less pressure than propane. I was planning on trying it and I was planning for the burner (See my site) to run the 1/4 npt pipe fully open with no cap/ jet on the end and take from there. This is with a blower setup that I am talking about.

That's AWESOME man!!! You should see if your father-in-law would make more - betcha he'd have no problems selling them :D

Make sure you let us know how it works!

Natural gass orifices on burners are much larger than propane, I was in the commercial laundry industry for many years in so cal, if you try to run propane thru a natural gas orifice you will wind up with a flame thrower!

Thanks beaverman:thumbup: ,
We were getting mixed messages from different people. At least now I know what I need to get.

Hammerface:D ,
Lol..I told him the same thing.

I will update when I get a burner and try it out.
