New forge up and running

OK I'm Happy.... Not permanent yet but I took the blower fan off and ran the exhaust hose from my shop vac for the air supply and......It's hotter.

I'll get a faster motor for my blower fan. It's 1700 now, I'll up it to 3500....That should do.

The top blade is 1070 flat stock...Bottom..cable.
Welding forge is working.

Now that I got a welding forge it is on the top of the list of things to do....That and a harley chain. I got some large berrings to try after that....And some more cable. Then on to some random patterm damascus. I think I got that damascus bug!

I know how you how you feel. I think (scary) that making Damascus is more fun than making knives.
