New forge up and running

OK I'm Happy.... Not permanent yet but I took the blower fan off and ran the exhaust hose from my shop vac for the air supply and......It's hotter.

I'll get a faster motor for my blower fan. It's 1700 now, I'll up it to 3500....That should do.
Here is a pict of the first cable to come out of it.

The top blade is 1070 flat stock...Bottom..cable.
Welding forge is working.

Congrats on getting that new forge up and running. Progress, how sweet it is.

Looking good:thumbup: :cool: Did you ever do anything with that chainsaw chain that I sent you????:confused:

Now that I got a welding forge it is on the top of the list of things to do....That and a harley chain. I got some large berrings to try after that....And some more cable. Then on to some random patterm damascus. I think I got that damascus bug!:D

I know how you how you feel.:eek: I think (scary) that making Damascus is more fun than making knives.;) :D
