Hey to all,

I've been reading and perusing the forums for about 6 months now so I'm not exactly new, but I am to the point now where I'd like to begin selling off some of my collection so I can buy more knives. :D

I understand that anyone can buy knives here, but my questions mainly regards selling. I've searched around a bit and wasn't really sure how to go about purchasing a membership so I can sell knives via bladeforums.

Also, I have some higher end knives I am interested in selling. What is the best way to go about this? Should I start off selling cheaper knives to get good feedback? Jump right in with the good stuff? Thanks for any and all advice. I'm not the most internet savvy guy so I'm just trying to make sure I cover my bases here.

Welcome to Bladeforums.
To sell knives you need a Gold or higher membership level. For payment area, click on the link in my sig that says Support Bladeforums. That will take you to the pay,ent gateway.
As far as how to sell, read through the Exchange rules, first off. That will give you a general idea of what the do's and don'ts are. I wrote a blog entry a while back, it might be useful to you as it applies to buying, mselling trading, etc.

Also, some people love to add a line, " add 3% if paying by paypal". Personally, I skip over those items. It's much easier to have 1 single price, add your fees/shipping in, and be done with it. The former in my opinion is a bit much.

Hello and welcome to Bladeforums. You need a gold level membership or above to sell your knives here.

here is a link to where to buy it. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/payments.php

Besides being able to sell your items there are other benefits as well like private messaging, site advertisement no longer shows up and access to other things non paying members cant see.

As far as establishing your self here, I think your on the right track with starting small and working up in value as you gain feedback. Established members will want you to ship first and as long as you are dealing with a member in good standing you are pretty safe in doing so.

Yep...I type too slow... Hope you enjoy your stay here!

Hey, thanks for the assistance and the welcome guys! Sorry for putting this in the wrong section to the mods.
