Found a new production knife company selling their stuff through Midwest Gun Exchange.Basically a Framelock folder that comes in two sizes, great design, great build quality and a great materials and price. I was really impressed with the general feel and the smooth action of this folder right out of the box.6AL4V handle slabs and S30V blade steel. The one thing I dont care for is the thumb stud and standoff's colored blue like a Sebbie. Anyway, first pic is from the front page of the website that is still under construction, see it at Bradleycutlery.com I took the one I came home with and had to fix it up a little:~) I will probably list this one for sale in the proper forum with some more pics of lock up, etc...

How would you compare this knife to Sebbie?

Most of all, I'm iterested is quality and finish.

Overall its not up to par with a Sebbie but very very close, the knife is just smaller and lighter weight materials all around compared to a Sebbie and does not have the blocky feeling that caused me to start doing the Meltdown in the first place, though it does give me the feeling that its not quite the hard use knife a Sebbie is.For what these are going to sell for though its not a bad trade off in my opinion. As far as the lock up goes its different than anything I have seen before, the front of the lock bar is a round cut on the end instead of square like my knives and most other framelock folders. The lock bevel on the blade tang is curved cut instead of a flat cut like my knives but alot of other framelock makers like and use the curved cut. Iam not really sure how it will work after it has some hard use but it looks like a well thought out design and only time will tell after a bunch of these get in the hands of end users. The lock up feel is great and it unlocks easily and smoothly. The blade is flat ground and the grinds are just about perfect, very even and straight, some of the best I have seen on a production folder. The factory finish on the blade is very nice, stonewash finish kind of a deep grey color. You can see just a hint of satin lines on the flats of the blade through the stonewash finish. The edge is sharp but you can still see some of the remnants of the wire from their grind, two seconds on my sharpening wheel with some white rouge and it is perfect. The things I mentioned above are all very slight and from going over this knife with a fine toothed comb. The handle edge round over is wonderfull! The design of the handle and blade is perfect for my hand, this knife does not need a Meltdown whatsoever. The inside handle edges are not sharp anywhere. I really dont buy too many knives anymore but I just kept going back to this one and had to take one home.I also found out they sold out the first run of these at the show. I should mention I have no affilation with the makers of this knife or anyone at Bradley or Midwest, just ran across it at Blade and really like it.
