New from Blade-Tech

Mike,

Are you offering that on all your knives now, or just the bigger ones?

I will offer it as an option on all knives...It fits the system sheath and should work on the knives you have...

I don't know how many are available for sale right away but I will stock them asap...

I know you wanted a different clip so you could put the knives on and off your gear, well this is it...

The big clips are great for large knives, like 5-7 inch blades or bigger and for use on wide belts...The smaller clips will work well on anything smaller...These seem to be designed with everyday dress belts in mind...

The new Tec-Loc is 2 X 1.5 X .5 inches on the outside, the belt area is 1.5 X .25 deep...

I have the new Tec-loc on my knife right now...It's OK...It's square so it changes the carry on the belt a little...I found a different buffer washer that works better for me...

I have only seen a pic of these locks. How well do they work? Specifically, hjow likely is it that the lock will open and you lose your knife? I saw a Charles Ochs Bowie in a magazine once that was absolutely awesome!!! The sheath was amazing as well, but it had a button/flap deal to fasten your knife onto a belt and you can unsnap the button and remove your knife just like that. Well, I would be worrying about that little button unsnapping when in the boonies (especially if I were in combat, which is what this knife was marketed for) and it seems to me, at first glance, that the Tech-Lock is a plastic version of the smae thing and I would worry.

Well, I haven't been in the field yet with it but it stays on pretty tight...

The larger Tec-loc has a "keeper" to keep it from unlocking...

I don't see why they can't make a keeper for the smaller one as well...

I recently did a sheath for a large field knife...The large clip works well for this...And with the Tec-Loc lock, you have to remove your belt to get it off...
