I was wondering if any of you had seen this knife before… I bought it off a guy that says he got it from a guy that knows another guy. As far as he knows, he says it's a pretty rare blade, and said he thinks it's called a Combat Grade Anorexic Choil-less Flying BK Variant. I asked him what the "BK" stood for, but I was at a noisy trade show so it was very difficult to hear… I think he said Butler Knife… Which, I guess, may be a throw-back to a 17th century style blade that butlers used to carry.

It's a very light knife… maybe a Light Brigade prototype model, I'm not sure. It's Sleek and quite fast in hand, yet is a phenomenal chopper as well (made quick work of my banana this morning)!

I got the knife, a kydex sheath with Tek-Lok, and really nice drop-leg leather sheath all for $790… Which I think is a STEAL!

If anyone knows any more about this model (or if a satin or an LE exists) I'd love to hear from you. I'd also be willing to start a Passaround with it if there is enough interest.

Thanks!!

Awsome score, congrats.

Here is my old school find the famed "Busse Folder"

You should put it on the exchange. I bet one of our resident dealers would love to have that in his collection. Its definitely some sort of flying variant. Is that arctic white?

Methinks you have stumbled on a blade of GREAT historical significance, You should immediately fly to Vegas and see Rick @ the pawn shop and he can call in someone who could verify this thing! This could be BIG VERY BIG!!!

That looks like a very rare Stealth Hawk prototype

;)

Meh,

I think the handle ergo's won't be too great in my big paws!

Maybe if it had a bit more handle width. I suppose you could drill the handle for slabs, and that would help. I would have to send it back to the shop for a plain edge too. I don't like serrated edges (except the occasional flying serrations!)

holy sh!t where did you find that?

better yet do you know if they made anymore?

I don't think Busse made that model with serrations. Those are aftermarket.

Are you going to get a sheath made for it?
