Hi,

My name's Joe and I'm from northern cal. I have a big interest in the outdoors and especially my family first, guns, and knives :-) I had a Kershaw Avalanche until it was lost on a wildland fire and now I've been using a Benchmade "Doug Ritter" folder that has seen better days. I hope to learn a lot from you guys and gals and contribute when I can. Thanks!

Wow that Ritter Griptilian has seen a lot of use. Show us some more pics of that baby. Also you can send it back to Benchmade for Blade Sharp, lifetime resharpening.
That Griptilian still has mikes to go.
Welcome to BF's from another NorCal Knifenut,
Did you build up those ARs during the big Off List Lower movement? I built one up as well. Lots of ARs in California these days thanks to Calguns.org

Hey BillyM,

Thanks I didn't know that Benchmade offers that. Besides almost losing some of the clip screws the rest of the knife has held up very well. I built the right AR just last year and the budget AR on the left in April, both 80%ers but I wasn't aware of the movement..just rather be off record in the long run. I love Calguns and ARF, built at least half of both rifles using those resources.

Here are more pics of my kiddo :-)
