A peek at a new release from Grohmann (post below by Marion after my goof), their kit knives! The "U," or unassembled, models and suggested retail prices are:

UR1S Original Model $51.75

UR2S Trout & Bird $48.00

UR3S Boat Knife $52.50

UR4S Survival Knife $68.25

URK1S Large Camp $51.75

A folding D.H. Russell! Similar in design to their folding lockblade of 15 years ago, but more robust, the beautiful new R300S is still in prototype phase and a suggested retail of $140.00.

In addition, a Grohmann Survival Knife in carbon steel (R4C) received a very favorable review, along with a Dozier and Fowler, in the May Tactical Knives.

Thanks, Marion!

I copied this from the post I did on my forum and apparently not everything transferred properly. (I guess I should have checked it before hitting submit...)

Ooops! What an empty head! Sorry Tom. I wasn't paying attention. As innocent as my post was, I shouldn't have done this. I hope you understand. In any case, I will say in that you have the best prices on the Internet for Grohmann knives. And if the kits are any good, you will be hearing from me.

No worries, Jeff, I'm not wound all that tight...the folks at Grohmann are great to deal with and they have a good offer. (Heck, I didn't even know about it!)
