I got a few new pieces of leatherwork from Dwayne the other day, but was withouth a camera, so had to wait til now to show them off.
Firstly a beautiful custom sheath to match an attractive Scagel camp knife. The BRK Mini Canadian on the left is the companion knife to the large Scagel, and I also got Dwayne to make me a pocket sheath that would take the canadian, a SAK and a small firesteel. The work on both sheaths is superb.
Here are the Scagel and sheath a bit closer
Finally, I also picked up an off-the-shelf sheath for a Busse B10. Normally I wouldn't bother with a leather sheath for this type of knife, but there is something about the simplicity and economy of this sheath that is just a perfect match for the B10. Here it is with the Superleaf that will be a companion to the B10. I'm still working on an alternate set up for the B10 for more extreme outings.
Here is the sheathed B10 alongside another knife of similar size (actually a little shorter), just to show what a svelte package it is:
All in all, very nice work.
