New from William Henry Knives

T10_BT.jpg

William Henry Knives will be offering their Carbon Fiber Series with black blades with TiN gold plated screws, pivot, and studs. Just got off the phone with my contact at Wm Henry and he said they are expecting to start shipping these in approx. 4 weeks. No pricing info yet. Me, I can't wait to get a T12CF in black and gold

They will also have some ICONs at the Blade Show on display too.

Thanks Dexter, what a beautiful knife. I do not really care for black blades, but this is a very nice one.

I am not sure if this is something that I should know already, but can you tell me if WH are making this same knife without the black blade? I really like the gold highlights, but might not want the black blade.

Keith, yes - WH does make the T10CF carbon fiber Lancet w/ a beautiful hand rubbed satin blade with regular color screws. Those CF Lancets are like a feather - weigh next to nothing!

Thanks for the info Dexter. What I was really hoping was that they would make the satin finish with the gold fittings, but I guess you can't have everything. I wonder if an email might start them thinking of doing something that. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Archer - I assume you're inquiring about the black/gold spearpoint T12CF? Right now no pricing is available on those, I am predicting that they will be a bit more expensive than the regular T12CF (IIRC, $200 SRP) because of the black and gold coatings. Should not be too much, maybe around $20 increase. Hopefully speaking....

Archer, and others interested in pricing for the Black and Tan Series from WHK. Just got my copies of the 2001 WHK print catalog and 2001 SRP list in the mail today. As for pricing for the black bladed, TiN appointments, you're looking at a SRP increase over the regular Carbon Fiber Series by $30 across the board. Here's the breakdown, The Black and Tan (BT) with the regular Carbon Fiber Series (CF):

[*] Kestrel: T09CF = $175 / T09BT = $205

[*] Lancet: T10CF = $190 / T10BT = $220

[*] Spearpoint Folder: T12CF = $220 / T12BT = $250

Again, as of this past week we are about 5 weeks away from delivery of the BT's. This is no way etched in stone and is subject to change. There's a good chance the protos of the Black and Tan series will be on display at WHK's booth at this year's upcoming Blade Show.

Update - I have been informed by a WHK rep that the T12BT (black and gold T12CF) won't be ready at Blade Show time, but they probably will be shipping the T10BT around Blade Show time or shortly thereafter. No word yet on the T09BT Kestrel.

I just got off the phone with Matt Conable and he said the T12 Black and Tan Series knives will be out in about[/i] a month from now. The T09BT Kestrel and T10BT Lancet models are already shipping. Just my luck that the knife I want is shipping last
