I saw an interesting small axe/hatchet on E-bay and was wondering if any of you have ever seen, used or know where to get one in the U.S..
It was a combination set consisting of the small axe which looked to be about the same size as the wetterlings small hunter or granfors mini and came with a frost wood handled mora type knife. The set had leather sheaths for the axe and knife which could be carried as a unit or separated and carried individually.
The set was kinda pricy, around 90 British pounds. which sounds high to me but then the brits always seem to be 1/2 to twice as much as You can buy the same item for in the U.S. Probably not their fault, just higher import taxes into the U.K.
I know that the frost knives have a pretty good reputation in some circles and was wondering about the axe which I can't find any reference to. But like I said it looked very comperable to the granfors and wetterlings.
I captured the pictures from the auction but can't post them. If anyone is interested and would like a look or would be willing to post them for others to see, I would be happy to send them to you.
