Hey, I just got a Frosts Mora Model 860 Clipper for the fishing box. What do you guys think of this blade? I already had it on the sharpener and it's really sharp!

Thumbs-Up from me. I'm a huge fan of Mora knives, although I don't have that exact model.

Does it float by any chance?

Mora's are great and really hard to beat for the price. Should make a great fishing buddy.

I'm afraid not but it's easy to clean and sharpen. The sheath that comes with it is plastic with a drain hole at the bottom and it clips in. Pretty nice. I also noticed the belt clip really hold tight on your belt!

They had a bin of red and blue handled ones at the local tackle shop. pretty cheap. how do they hold up to use? is the blade a full length blade into the handle or...?

I dont have the clipper but own a scout, swedish army, and the 2000 man these knives get scary sharp. i've owned the 2000 for about 5 months and have put it to some hard use it is great. the scout in the boat for about a year now, and the army at my hunting camp all very strong knives i would bet the clipper is of the same quality

Like others have mentioned, I'm a hug Fan of the Mora knives. I have a few stashed in several places, in the Kitchen for tough work that I don't want to use my finer knives for, in the Truck, Tacklebox, etc.

I will make a prediction, I bet once you enjoy this one you will want more. There are several good styles to fit just about anything you would need them for.

Enjoy!

I have a feeling it will see waist time. Does the blade chip/tip snap in day to day? I'm not abusive on my knives, i mean to some extent i am but i know the limits and can kind of feel when something bad will happen. For now itll be just a fishing knife/woods knife.
