This is another piece I call a "Ranch" knife. A good reason being it was ordered by another rancher
who preferred the handle a bit longer and thicker to facilitate the use in gloves and cold weather.
The knife is 9 3/4" drop point and made of 225 layer "random" Damascus with a 4 1/2" cutting edge. The blade is my normal flat grind/convex edge with an integral guard and has a full but, shallow top bevel. The handle has a tapered tang (not too tapered though) and handle scales of stabilized Maple Burl wood with stainless steel handle bolts and an open lanyard. I hope you like it.
