Hello to All... Back in Feb. I posted about a half a dozen new photo's for a Collectors Gallery I have been working on slowly.. Those were all shot by Jim Cooper... Tonight I wanted to share some photo's that were done by Mitchell Cohen at Prairie Digital... His studio is near Chicago, and he posts new images here on BF from time to time...

I think the shots came out especially nice and I wanted to post a few for you to see... Mitchell is such a nice guy to do business with, and he is also a collector who knows the tactical segment really well.... Thanks Again Mitch....

Some of these knives are new to my collection, and I don't think the others have ever been posted... Mitchell really did a great job on these, and I hope you all enjoyed seeing some of his work....

Everyone have a good weekend, and "Stay Frosty".... Best Regards, Rich Slaughter

I happened upon these images on Mitch's Facebook page last eve. I was completely impressed.

Knowing that they are YOURS, Rich, makes me smile even more. :)

Yes, such great knives, shown with emotion and drama. Nicely done, Mitch and Rich!

Thanks so much Joe, Fish, Lorien, Bob, and Coop! Thanks to you again as well Mitch for such nice pictures to share.... Best Regards from California, Rich Slaughter

Rich -- you have an amazing collection and almost everything has great engraving too. Hopefully sometime all the collection will be available to be seen online as I'm sure many collectors will spend a lot of time viewing and enjoying the collection you have created.

Thanks for your nice comments Kevin Jones.. Always appreciated...

Murray, thank you as well.. I am still collecting with the same sense of excitement I had all those years ago when we first met.. I really do like fine engraving on knives that I feel will benefit from it.. The Hansen dagger came engraved as they all do, but I loved the fact that it was of a more traditional style.. Out of the remaining knives above, all were unengraved when I purchased them... The three I sent out, I just asked each of the engravers, (Joe Mason, Mitchell Moschetti, and Ray Cover), to keep it simple and do it "as if the knife belonged to you"... I have never once been let down when I do that.. Joe's heavy use of gold in his design was a pleasant surprise, and I think it worked... If you could see the 3-D effect through magnification on Mitch's work, you would be amazed.. Millions of tiny dots... He chose to use no gold to keep the silver and white dominant.... The Hoel piece, and Ankrom chute folder will never be engraved.. I have many, many folders that to my tastes are perfect just the way they left the makers bench...

I really am closing in on finishing the gallery page for my collection... It will be a fun project for me to keep up, and change the pieces from time to time.. My hope is collectors like yourself might view the page now and then, and add pieces to a visitors showcase I hope to have...

Thanks again everyone.. Mitch Cohen did a fine job with these knife images and I hope you enjoyed them too..... Best Regards, Rich Slaughter
