I have a Kershaw Kuro I really like. I carry this knife everywhere I go and have cut everything from thick rope to opening mail with it. I want to give one away to see if someone else likes it as well as I do. So post GAW and tell me about an inexpensive knife you like. Sorry I will only ship within the continental US ad you must be at least 18 years old. I'll be using a random number generator to choose the winner. This will run for 48 hours I will announce the winner Thursday 6/25 at 2.30 pm est. Good luck. Congratulations to AQUAMAN67 he has won the Kuro.

I'm in.
Got a blue Gerber Air Ranger 10 or so years ago. Carried and liked it until recently joining BF and getting a Kershaw Lahar.

Ps- I don't think the pic attachment is working.

Not am entry, I love budget knives, there's to 's of fantastic ones out there these days. The RR Half whittler and kabar dozier lockback are my current two faves!

I really like the Kershaw OD-2. Tiny little razor sharp knife with a really cool opening mechanism. I carry it a lot.

I'm in! I've been carrying a Rough Rider knife of one type or another for about a year now.

Wouldn't mind looking at something new.

I'm in. GAW.
The Rat 1 is one of my all time favorite knives, it just happens to also be a high value folder.

Thanks, I'm in! Thanks for the GAW...

If I was not a knife nut, then the modest SAK Fieldmaster my then girlfriend/ now wife got me 23 years ago may very well be enough knife to handle all my edc and 90% of my knife tasks... But what would be the fun in that!

I'm in please. I love these entry level Kershaws but do not have this one. Mid level and spendy knives are fun, but you get more utility per dollar - and in my case more fun per dollar - with these "budget" Kershaws than with any other knives in my view. I love them. So thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite inexpensive folder is my Buck 112. I bought it for 3 dollars at a yard sale with my grandpa when I was 7. 15 years later I still use the knife at least once a week. Ive used it for everything from cleaning fish to opening bags of concrete. Its done it all and has done it well.

GAW. I'm in. Never had a Kershaw folder to play with.

I really like this KABAR Dozier Design

I'm in. My constant carry knife is a stainless steel Schrade (USA made) lock back that is just under 4 inches closed, lightweight and easy to hold. It is my go to knife with a lanyard so that I can tie it to my belt or hang it around my neck. It was a hardware store special at $12 for knife and sharpening stone, but very durable and useful

As I take it out of my pocket now, I see it is Model SP3 and still tight after more tan five years of use.

Not an entry, but a $1 Buck Nano was in my pocket for over 3 years. Bought it at the county surplus store where they sale knives from the airport. Just replaced it with a Kershaw Ember. Need a knife that fits in the coin pocket.

I'm in.

I paid like $5 for a Gerber paraframe mini. I took it to California in my checked bag. I didn't want to be without a knife and I figured if it was stolen by the TSA it wouldn't be a great loss.

Well, the TSA didn't steal my knife so I got to carry for a week. It was actually a pretty good knife. I did all the usual stuff and even cut up some fruit with it.

I could have saved thousands of dollars by just keeping a $5 Gerber. (But where's the fun in that?)

I just looked up the kuro because i wasnt sure what it was, (and your link doesn't work) but now I know, and even with serrations I like it. I'll bite, would make a nice addition to my work rotation. I actually find serrations handy at times at work.

I love my Schrade sch220 I bought for work. It actually outperforms all my 8cr13mov entry level blades with it's 3.5" blade in 9cr18mov alloy (similar blend but with higher carbon, much higher chromium and moly, and nickle). While many complain of schrade's poor qc and "crap" steel (ht) Schrade did a good job with the batch mine came out of, and with a deep pocket clip and smooth design features, it's a bit chunky and heavy but looks as good and better then many Knives twice the price. All for just $16, even with the handle finish starting to chip a bit due the abuse it takes at work, it is definitely one of the better budget blades I've had the pleasure of owning.

*also paid $10 for a 3" blade Kilimanjaro Vertice which has so far turned out to be rock solid and every bit of knife compared to some bigger brand $30-40 Chinese Knives I have owned.

(It was so cheap, I almost feel bad whenever I carry it over Knives I spent 3x's as much on).

Not an entry
The Kuro is a really good knife. I gave one to my nephew for x-mas last year, and he loves it.

GAW entry. I had a kuro, it was a great knife, i loved the ergos and the blade shape. It was my fishing knife, til i t took a plunge off the side of the spillway one night... guy next to me knocked it off

GAW entry.

One of my favorite inexpensive knives I carry a lot in my jacket pocket is my Boker Kalashnikov auto :D
