I got quite a haul this week! Took a trip to Bradford on Monday, it is only about an hour and a half north of me. I spent way too much time walking around in a daze trying to decide. I finally settled on a trapper, a medium stockman, and a peanut, all in yellow with CV steel. It was interesting to see all the handle materials in person. The navy blue bone looks great, and so does the antique green. Then to top it off, yesterday I got my GEC Northfield #53 in primitive bone. This one totally blows me away! I love smooth bone, and the shape of the overall package is very pleasing. I will definately need another one of these.

How was Bradford? Is there a factory tour? I'm in Rochester, and have been thinking about grabbing my friends who live in Buffalo for trip down there.

I also made the trip this year and planning to go back again.

Went back to the store this weekend and nabbed a few more. The store is nice. Oriented way more towards Zippo than case though. They have full lines of all the current production knives. The ladies at the counter will get out a couple examples of the one your looking at, so you can check 'em out. I scored a dark antique trapper with the long tail C shield, very nice! I also grabbed a yellow 087 pattern pen with CV, an 087 stockman, and a large gunstock with orange G10. The gunstock was on clearance.:D It is definately worth checking out, so you can handle some different patterns. I thought I would like the 75 pattern stockman, but didn't care for it.

I don't have enough self control to go to the Case store ..
Sounds like ya had a great time.

I surely did have a great time, my GF not as much.:D I had to buy her a Zippo purse to stave off her boredom for awhile. Bradford is a little bleak for NKPs. Being only about an 1.5 hours away, I'm sure I'll go back sometime. Next trip, though, is to GEC!
