My 2 new Tidoute pocket knives arrived yesterday and all I can say is they are awesome. The first is a #23 Beaver Tail in Beaver Pond Bone, and it is probably my new favorite. The handle is stunning and gets better every time I look at it. There are no gaps anywhere on this knife and the 1095 came sharp out of the box and sharpened up to hair popping in no time. I got #5 of 250. I wonder how they got the figure to pop like that in the bone. The other is a #54 in chocolate bone. Very nice in its own right and fits nicely in my pocket. I will buy more GEC's as soon as my wife and wallet recovers. A special thanks to Derrick at KnivesShipFree, they arrived here in Canada only 1 week from my order.

It is a large knife for sure, but it is pretty thin and carrys very well. Both knives I purchased were made in 2007. I am surprised there are any left in the beaver pond bone. It is THAT nice.

Congrats on the new knives. Sound like beauties.

The slim profile of this sizeable knife (the single blade #23 Pioneer) is, to me, one of its most attractive features.

(And it's worth mentioning again that the GEC knives are terrific all the way around.)

I bought a few GEC's from TSA knives (who by the way has great customer service) They are a well made american knife.

The No.73 Beaver Tail in Natural bone is a scaled down version, very nice square-end construction and fine for the pocket.WELL MADE.

Onies, I am not going to blame you for the order I placed this evening.
I was looking at it before you got yours, after all.
Beaver Tail, Beaver Pond Bone, KSF. :D

I look forward to agreeing with your assessment of what I think will be a good-looking, hard-working knife.
