I noticed GEC just posted a picture of their new pattern....

There were introducing the pattern at Blade; but don't know if this is the exact knife they took.

3 3/4" - 1095 - Burnt Orange Bone

That loooks pretty interesting. I will have to check it out tomorrow:D

Burnt Orange is a very good colour, not at all lurid, very autumnal.

A two blade Congress would suit me more as the full pattern is too thick and heavy for my daily pocket.

A quality manufacturer.

A good choice for a new pattern.. 3 3/4" just about right.. The scale cover color is also good.. Should be a great seller....

I like the size and pattern. But would prefer a spear and sheepsfoot for the main blades. Larry

instead of the second pen i really would rather have a coping blade.
so please tell Bill to make the change. thanks buzz

It depends on the price!

Queen makes a fine 4" Congress in D2 with 2 sheepsfoot and 2 pen blades,
And a 4" two blade congress with a single sheepsfoot and pen on a single spring (which they mistakenly advertize as 3 1/2")

And S&M makes an even finer 4" Congress (16th Series) with spear and sheepsfoot for the main blades and coping and pen for the secondary blades, that also has cutouts.

Larry, I discussed this with Ken at the Show, they already had plans in the works so look for that change in the future.

I was very impressed with this knife and like most I was ecstatic about seeing a totally new pattern.

I purchased several from Ryan and Ken and I think I alone made their trip profitable! :D

Really was nice to talk with them and handle so many of their knives.
