I just got this baby from Mike at Collectorknives.net and just had to show it off. :)
GEC #56 Dogleg Jack in Antique Weave Bone. This one will be my main EDC for a while.
No half stops with a perfect pull. 3 1/2". 2010 production.

I know everyone likes pics so here they are......

The single blade 55 is one of my favorite knives. That two blade jack version looks exceptional.

Nice! Great looking folder. The #56 is basically the #55 with a second pen blade. I've been carrying my #55 as my EDC 24/7 for approaching 3 months now and love it. It just fits the hand so perfectly.

Congrats :)

NICE, and it even has the PPP seal of approval: Positively Pleasurable Perusing. :p

hey now, thats causing a little drool on my keyboard
i am blaming YOu for that! Bdev!

but seriously. Niiiiice!

Nice score! It's hard to beat a #56. They really hit a homerun with this pattern. Super curvy and super comfy to use.

Always love to hear a persons enthusiasm and see pics of a new acquisition - thanks for sharing!

That's a beauty. it looks ideal as an EDC. Then again I'm a sucker for jackknives. My #56, was one of the best purchases I've made. I hope you like yours.

Guys and Gals,
I know it's been on here before but what does the PPP circle stand for?

In the instance of the first TC Barlow, it clearly stood for Pertinux Preferred Pattern.

To Whit:
Alert readers may have already noted this, but:

See it?

The back of the main blade has P for PERTINUX etched right on it, in triplicate!

In more common usage, it designates a "Pattern Production Premier" (or "Premier Pattern Production" or even "Production Pattern Premier," depending on whom you ask)-- the first run ev-ah of a given (new) GEC pattern.

Great knife! these Dogleg Jack have a great appeal. I really like that handle shape very much...

How does it perform in hand while using it?
