I pulled this out of my mailbox late yesterday afternoon. It is a GEC NF Harness Jack (541208) with Horsecut Antique Bone covers. The knife is built on GEC's 4 1/8" #54 (half stops) Equal End Cigar frame. The clip blade is 3" long and the punch is 2" long. I like this style/size harness jack much more than the harnes jacks built on GEC's #85 tear-drop frame. I wish GEC would make another run of this style harness jack - a clip point version and a spear blade version as they did in their beginning years.

Anyone else with this style GEC #54 Harness Jack (clip blade or spear blade) feel free to post pictures - #85 style Harness Jack not so much.

Ed, any particular reason(s) why you prefer the 54 over the 85?

I prefer the style, size, and weight of the 54 over the 85. I also much prefer the punch on the 54 over that of the 85 - especially, the dual groove punch on some 85s.

Very nice, Ed! I agree the 54 is an awesome pattern all around. I like everything about mine.

Here's my contribution to your thread.

Looks great, Ed, love the color and the jigging.

I've got a clip and a spear, both long pull Northfields.

It does not say so on the tube or the production list, but the amber bone looks horsecut to me.

Nice Ed! Really like that pattern but it's a little too big for me. Been tempted to pull the trigger on that pattern quite a few times.

I too like the spear blade type. So I had to get one of each.

Those are some serious EE HJ eye candy there fellows:thumbup:! On the #85 I like the spear better but on the #54 I like the clip better!

Great looking knives guys. Very nice. That could be Horsecut on your Amber Bone Jeff but I can't say with certainty.

I too have a spear blade version of the #54 Harness Jack. I've used it quite often.

I'm with you Ed, the equal end pattern suits the harness Jack well.
Here is my example, a Tidioute frontier bone spear blade:

The Horsecut bone is really a stand out. The harness jacks are a great pattern too.
