New GECs in the mail today

Hi guys!

Got some new ones in the mail today, took some quick phtots with my obsolete camera...sorry. These are my latest, I got 4, but one of them went back.

The new ones are a Yellow Rose Northfield lockback EDC, an Amber Bone Northfield Lockback #5, and an American Elk GEC Muskrat.

These are all my Northfield lockbacks together.

Couldn't help but pull one I've been using around the house and carrying lately outta my pocket and throw it in the mix. Tidioute Stonewashed Blue #20.

Again, sorry for the poor shots. My camera is several years old, and it's a point-n-shoot kind. Great for regular stuff like family X-mas, but not for close-ups.

joe-bob, the Northfield stag #72s are about the best looking factory knife going, and your red stag is right at the top of the stack. Good pickups. :thumbup:
 
joe bob your photos have improved a ton from 6 weeks back. i still have'nt located the red stag locker& i believe the yellow rose is a comer in that pattern . thanks for showing---your collection is really taking off. [you bully]

Dennis, the Red Stags sold out almost right away. IIRC -- only about 30 were even made.
 
Beautiful!. I'm particularly enamored with that Yellow Rose and that dark stag looking model. I've put both of those on my "get list".
 
The handle on that red stag lockback is particularly nice, and I've seen quite few. :thumbup:

GEC hasn't had the best of luck with their red stag, but the photo on the New Release Page looked particularly nice, so I told my dealer that if they looked as good as the official photo, to snag me one. I got lucky.
 
thanks for the info joebob, that means i'll have to wait till someone needs a root canal & has to raise some cash by selling the red stag locker. also the yellow rose locker is an elusive item. we all know your brother works in production at gec. thanks. dennis
 
J-B I like that Amber Bone Lockback, in fact I like it too much:eek:

Now I regret getting the Burnt Orange Lockback instead:mad:

Very good show all round. Which one went back?

I have that same muskrat in elk. What a great knife, one of my favorite productions.
