I am a big fan of Gene's knives. What knife is that with the cool looking toenail? I have not seen many of Gene's knives done in jigged bone scales, nor that style. I am betting that is an older knife of his.

If you only waited a year, you are living a charmed life because if you placed an order today, it would take over 2 years easy.

Nice toenail, looks like black liners.

Morimotom---That Rocks! I love Gene's knives. The RED and all! Thanks!!

i dont know the name of it, and haven't been able to find any info on it.

i bought it on the exchange a while ago, and dont recall it being listed with a name. came with the pocket sheath pictured.

I also love Gene's work and he is a super nice guy. Here's mine.
The top one is a GWB and the bottom is a Semi-skinner with a GWB handle

That model He calls the "Pocket Bowie"

The one with the jigged bone scales...I used to own one like it.

CONGRATS on the sweet Gene Ingram!! That is an awesome knife! I am quite fond of his work as well.

Yep, that's what it is. I bought that one from a member here. I contacted Gene about it, and sent him a picture. It is one of his early knives, and maybe the only tortoise shell scales that he made. He was wondering how it was holding up.

And that semi skinner hits me where it hurts. I have several of Gene's knives--attached a picture of a few of them (bad picture, need to take new one with recent additions)--but haven't picked up one of his skinners yet.
