I would like to formally announce that Spyderco has a new General Manager.

Mr. Jeff Barhoover has joined the Spyderco team. He has much experience and skill in the outdoors industry in general and knows much about the knife industry in particular.

He is an avid hunter and knife nut. Jeff hails from Oklahoma and we are fortunate to have enticed him to Golden.

His responsiblities will include the general running of the organization including Domestic manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Production, Shipping & Receiving and Quality control.

This will permit me valuable time to concentrate on R & D, new product development, marketing concepts, and of course the forum.

We are all pleased with his presence and we are looking forward to working with him. Those of you going to the SHOT Show will have an opportunity to meet him there.

This is the first time that Spyderco has had a general Manager. Upward & Onward.

Me:"Uuh....yeah, something like that."

Congrats Jeff, hope to hear from you from time to time.

Sal, know this means that you are growing as a company. Lots of luck on the new growth. Just don't change a thing, except to get better.

Jeff, Congratulations, much success in your new position.

Sal, Be honest, how much of this R & D is really going to be you hanging out with us at the Forums? "No really Jeff, these are our customers, and this Lorena person has a very interesting perspective on the Cutlery Industry."

PS, Sal did you get my E-mail?

Jeff,

Welcome to the Spyderco family, Colorado, and Blade Forums. Sounds like a hat trick to me!

Congrats to Jeff, for joining a top notch organization.

Congrats to Sal, for finding a capable set of hands to help take some of the load off.

Congrats to us, because this means more of Sal here on the forum, as well as (hopefully) a new member.

Best wishes, Jeff!
