New Gold Member. Now what?

Hello,

I sprang for a Gold membership. What exactly can I do with it? I was reading a thread in the general knife forum that stated gold members are allowed to ask about prices. Is that in the general knife forum or is there somewhere better suited?

I've looked at the FAQs but it doesn't really go in to any detail.

What else can I do now?

As a Gold Member, you are allowed to post "For Sale" threads in the Exchange area if you have knives or other things you want to sell. You also have Private Message capability, so you can communicate with other paying members without posting the message for everyone on the board to see. You can sometimes get good information on values in General Knife Discussion, at least for modern knives. For older pieces, I suggest the Bernard Levine sub-forum. And of course, you don't have to see advertisements now.
