I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a new or used ATI Mobility 9000 64MB laptop graphics card. My current card is in need of an upgrade.

Have you checked NewEgg and TigerDirect? Those are the first places I check for computer parts or accessories. Both are competitively priced with huge selections. I've ordered from both and strongly recommend either.

Happy shopping,
Bob

I tried both of them and haven't found what I'm looking for. :(

hey Ken try http://www.pricewatch.com and see what they have, as they have hundreds of vendors for computer parts and list the parts by price. I have purchased parts from some of the vendors with little to no hassle, a lot of the places listed are in NY or in CA, but hey with next day air it isn't so bad.

Buyer beware on Ebay. I've had a number of bad transactions recently. Shipped the wrong item on 3 out of 4 items (2 made right promply, one after 6 weeks).

I just got the wrong model knife from another deal from a vendor with thousands of ratings. In addition to being the wrong knife, it has a severly bent tip (kitchen knife no longer made). Their complaint department email account bounces too

Before you get to deep into looking for a new graphics card for your Laptop, find out if it can even be upgraded with a new GPU (Graphics processing unit) most can't be upgraded. If you know that yours can, I recommend going threw the manufacture of your laptop. They will have the parts instock or can tell you where to get them. If you knew this already, sorry for taking up space. Either way, good luck with your search.

I wouldn't have asked if I didn't already check. ;)

Good for you. What laptop do you have if you don't mind my asking? Not many pass threw my hands that have upgradable video cards (I work for CompUSA in the upgrades department and have been doing computers since I was little).

I was reading in a PC mag article yesterday that inVidia (spelling?) graphics cards are becoming the standard and are way better than ATI. Just a thought for you.
