Just a short eyeball review of my 2 new knives.

The Whisper C.T. is a beautiful little aggressively styled clip point blade. 1" wide, .20" thick, and 5.75" total blade length w/ full flat grind has a 5.2" cutting edge that narrows to a vicious point. The 4.75" long slick and slim black linen micarta handle has a very ergonomic fencer's type grip. Coupled with a nice leather sheath that fits perfectly, this is a great knife, and an unbelievable deal. The knife was sharp, but I like a more acute angle so I reprofiled it to 30*. The 8670 steel takes a very keen edge rather easily. The micarta scales are removable, and have a very, very slight reveal to the full tang w/lanyard hole. Some don't care for this reveal, but to me it's imperceptable, and probably improves grip. It is decidedly fast in hand. The grind lines are perfect, and the few minor imperfections are of zero consequence. A concealex sheath & teclok will put this knife into my concealed carry EDC. In three words or less, "A wicked fighter". It is stout enough to be used in all knife ways, but there is no denying it's design.

The X-Plorer is a large bolo style blade with a 9.25" cutting edge that is 1.5" wide and flares to 2". Also made from .20" 8670 steel with a high flat grind, this knife promises to be a good chopper with excellent blade heavy balance. The handle is also slim and slick black micarta, and designed large to allow for heavy glove wear. OAL is 15.9" with 10.2" of blade. The lower guard and thumb ridges are well designed and placed. There is a half choil sort of, in front of the guard, but leads right to the edge so beware. The skull popper/hammer w/lanyard hole protrudes from the end of the scales about .2". The sheath is also black leather and well made. I think the edge, although sharp, is too obtuse, but I'm going to test drive it before reprofiling. The linen micarta was too slick for my taste, so I wrapped it with tennis racket tape. The knife is so beautiful to look at it makes me want to duel Errol Flynn. En guarde!

These knives are a real treat. So much so that I now have the MST and the Companion on my "to do" list. I can't imagine any better deals out there. Thank you John Greco.

Good review!
I feel the same way about my Whisper & 5" Camp Companion. VERY sturdy knives, great steel & exceptional value.
