new grinder,chinese vfd question

Just purchased ( almost stole) a new KMG. as you can see in the picture the stand that came with grinder has a mount for the vfd, which is enclosed in a gasketed metal box , with a filtered vent on each side . Everything is working as it should ,but it dawned on me that the vfd is almost right in the path of all the grit that comes off belt. Should I move the box to the wall behind the grinder ? somewhere even further away ? or leave it as is.

Personally, id move it so I could access it to change speeds more easily.

I would move it above the motor. That will also give you more room below to mount your dust/grit catch system to the vacuum.
