It's made of Corian - Moss Green.
I made them myself.
No, they're not heavy at all.
They're not as slippery as they look.
Corin comes in many different patterns and colors.
So, there is a lot of choices.
I was thinking Mulberry Blue for the next ones.
I was also thinking of making a matching set.
You know, one for the Standard size and one for the Mini, both in Mulberry or Moss or something else. Then load them up with a M2 or M4 steel.
That would be sweet!

Looks like imitation stone! Something along the lines of Corian or cultured marble would be my guess!?!?

Good guess. What did you win?

HAHA! I was in the construction business before I got into what I do now and spent a few years working for a company that did Corian. Not anybody can buy the material, you have to be certified and trained just to buy the product (and it comes in big sheets). However I can tell you that a lot of pieces that ended up in the dumpster were big enough to make several handle sets.

Nice work indeed!

I've always liked the add-on scales for the griptilian, but yours blow the others away. VERY nice.

I know others have refused to make scales for the griptilian because of the time and difficulty involved. What say ye? Did you use a CNC machine?

Those scales look great, I bet it carries a lot better know! (not as fat in the pocket)

I'm not sure why but Ninja Turtle keeps poping into my head when I look at the Pics! LOL

They look excellent, although it would seem slippery, but I guess you can texture it, right?

How did you cut/shape them?

Very nice.

VERY proffesional work there brotha! Definately up there in the ranks with Wilkins as far as fit and finish goes. I like how you really rounded the edges nicely. I would like to know how you cut out the inlays for the scales and axis lock. Surely you used CNC right?
