Hello guys, I'm more of a handgun guy but do have a few pocket knives. I have 2 kershaws (leek, blur) and a few Gerber's.

My question is I'm in the market for a new 3" or under assisted opening knife with a pocket clip any recommendations? Any help would be great

Welcome to Bladeforums.
I would recommend looking at the ZT0350 or even the 0200. Both are great knives, solid lock up, ergonomics, etc.

Welcome to the forums. A great place to learn about all things sharp. You can get 100's of good answers to your questions so I'll add the Benchmade 710 series.

Suggest maybe you give us some more details on what you're looking for in a knife and intended uses.

Camping? General EDC? Self Defense last resort? Price Range?

Benchmade 890 or mini nitrous stryker are both good. I got my dad the stryker about a year ago as a gift and he loves it, hasn't had an issue with it yet.

Thanks for the responses.......I pretty much have a knife on me all day every day. I use it from cutting, scraping, opening boxes, digging you name it.

I just purchased a 2010 Benchmade Osborne Mini Barrage 585, I hope I like it.

Thought I'd go with a none blackened blade this time as I usually scratch them up pretty well.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I have both the Mini and the Full-size Barrage. They're both good solid users, and I especially like the fact that you can lock them open or closed. I'm sure your be pleased, especially for the price. Definitely let us know your thoughts once you've had it for a little while.

Just got it today (585) out of the box seems nice, decent sharpness pretty even bevel, lighter then I thought it would be about same as the kershaw leek, also about the same length wider blade though wider overall but the size I was looking for.

I'll update in few weeks after some everyday use.
