Hello everyone, new guy here.

I have lurked here on and off for quite a while, but finally decided to register. I live in central Iowa, and have been collecting knives since I was a kid. My daily carry is a Gerber Applegate Fairbairn folder that's been in my pocket more often than not for nine years now.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not (typical new guy you know), but I took this tonight after giving everything a light coating of oil and figured I'd share.

So, if SHTF and you had to run off into the woods with only one of these blades, would you take the Randall or the Reeve? Or something entirely different?

DB has a point: there aren't a lot of woods here in Central Iowa. Last night I was thinking about which one of these I'd take if I had to head into the cornfields though. If the SHTF tomorrow, I'd probably end up with the Randall on my belt. Its what I had on my mind when I ordered it, and hey, chicks dig Randalls, right? :)

With the exception of the combat daggers though, I think I could go with just about any of them and get equally far.

E - Cattaraugus 225Q - looks to be with the original left handed sheath too - that's how they were issued.

It's the knife that introduced me to collecting WW2 knives - excellent knife and a unique pommel assembly.

Thanks for sharing your collection.
