Hey everyone, I thought I would post up an intro thread since I went ahead and registered.

I actually found this place by searching for a TAD gear backpack. I've been looking everywhere for one and I can never catch them in stock. Found a for sale thread and registered, hoping it's still available...but haven't heard back from the seller just yet.

Anyway, I've been reading through the boards here and there's some great stuff. It's been distracting me from my daily duties all week as well as tempting me to unload some serious money...but my wife keeps me in check :rolleyes: (good thing about knives and such, they are easily hidden and she can't tell them apart..."oh, I've had that one for years!")

Anyway, just thought I would say hi. I wasn't sure where to start an intro thread so I figured this place would be best.
 
Whoa, small world. Of all the responses, the first is from a fellow Nacogdochian!

I'm originally from Houston but ended up here in high school, stayed, went to SFA, graduated and now work at SFA.

I'm not from Nacogdoches, but I've driven through there lots of times. That's not a bad thing. I'd rather live there than here in League City.

Cool, I was actually at the Medical Center ER Monday night. My wife is pregnant with twins and her blood pressure went way up, scared us. Everything is fine though.
 
Welcome aboard! I went to SFA for a couple of years; lived in Halls 14 and 16. Not good for the GPA. :D

How long ago? They've been changing up campus for a while, added some new buildings, tore some down etc etc

Will do, she is due in June but from what we hear twins usually tend to come a bit early so we will see.

Are you going to check out the gun show in a couple weekends?

No kidding? I don't listen to that station much, my best friend DJ's at Y100 and has for a while, kinda runs Yates media. It's kind of cool, back before I was married I got to go to a ton of concerts for free and meet a bunch of artists. I would have to say Kevin Fowler was the most fun to hang around.
