  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Hello everyone. I'd like to first thank this site, whoever helps to keep it running, and all those involved in it. I've been a lurker for a little while now and I've learned tons. I think I'm ready to take the plunge into making knives by stock removal. Through reading I've seen a lot of people suggest to try and visit someone close by before taking a big investment plunge. So, Before I shell out a lot of money, I thought I'd ask and see if there is anyone close by that I could maybe visit or talk with. I hope I've posted this in the right section. If there is a better section for my question please let me know. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks!

Welcome! I can't tell you much of anything about knife making, but I've spent many nights in hotels in Scottsboro. Any other questions about anything, don't hesitate to ask. This forum is a wealth of knowledge. [emoji106]
