I'm new to the forum, although I've been lurking for quite a while now. Also new to Becker, just picked up a brand new BK14 and man do I love this knife. Came outta the box razor sharp, shaving hair. Very nice blade thickness. Decided to do my first paracord wrap on it and it turned out great so I'm gonna order something besides black and do a new wrap on it. I've already been trying to decide on my next Becker! Haha between the Bk2 and Bk3, input??
Starting a little Becker collection because I really love all their designs and can't put this 14 down longer then 10 minutes. Amazing little knife!

I was lured into the world of Beckers by an unassuming small knife as well. The BK11.
The 11 and 14 certainly are amazing knives.
I can definitely relate to your current infatuation! Lol

If you want my "next knife" opinion, I'd say get the BK2. Hands down!
The BK3 is cool, but I couldn't find too many daily uses for it.
The 2 was my second Becker and I can find a million uses for that bad boy!

But beware my friend...you're starting to tread down a path that may lead to a very large Becker collection!! :D
And you know the rules right?... Now that you're posting, WE NEED PICS!

Kinda what I was thinking, the 2 seems like I would get more use out of it! Glad to see someone can relate though! Haha
I seen that one coming so pics are on the way!
 
Welcome aboard, sailor! Like Jonny says, be careful of the undertow....

I would agree that the 2 is a good next choice. Between the 14 and the 2, you'll have your bases (mostly) covered. That will not, however, stop you from buying another Becker....and another....and another....and another....
 
Get on in here and get busy. I think a 2 paired with that 14 would give you a solid kit. Some micartas would be nice on the 2.
 
Thanks guys! And yeah I've already been sucked in, as I have a list of the next few Beckers I want already... Good thing or bad? At least its not crack. Hahahaha

I'm thinking the same... 2 it is! Also thought about some micarta for it. I want some scales for my 14 but I'm digging the wrap so far, may just stick with it.
 
WELCOME! You cannot go wrong with a 2......or a 7.....or a 9! Honestly, as long as its a Becker, you're gonna be happy with it. But beware, as others have warned. 1 Becker leads to another, then another, and another, and so on. I can see into your future already. You're gonna get a 2 and you already have a 14. Therefore, you're gonna have to get a 'tweener (15, 16 or 17). Happy hunting :)
 
Thanks man! And yeah I'm not gonna fight it or else I may get a fever, I will soon have a nice collection of Beckers! Haha They have very quickly became my favorite knife.

I was actually looking at the 5 too... I like them a lot. But I think I like the 2 more for my next purchase.. maybe, hell idk so many perfect choices!
Might be a "newb" question but why are the 5s gonna dissapear? Lol

The 9 is also on my list. Thank you for adding to the madness and confusion. Hahaha
If only I could just buy them all!
