Im the new guy here today, wanted to say hi to all and let you know I am the webmaster over at New Graham Knives http://www.newgraham.com/ and thought I would sign up here so I could give Mike Dye a hard time, and so some of you that shop there can give me some imput on the site, help me make it a better place to shop, hangout or whatever. I am by the way a Benchmade fan, and occasionaly a Al Mar and Spyderco buyer, and if any of you would like to get onto Mike about it I think I should get 1 each of every knife on New Graham for doing the site :) Mike seems to be against this idea for some reason.

 Anyway the forum seems like a great place to learn about some knives and talk to some interesting people.

if you have any advice on the site or imput please post me a reply or message anytime or e-mail me walker2@newgraham.com I love working on the site and want to make it a great place for all of you to find what your looking for!

I bid thee welcome Mr. Webmaster Sir. Glad to have you with us--if only so we can bug you about every little inconsequential aspect of the site...:p. Actually, I frequent the site quite often and so far don't have any complaints--it's a pretty well designed site as far as I can see. I Definitely see the Benchmade Bias on the homepage, but I can't blame ya for being a Benchmade fan...:D

Okay, ramble mode off...just wanted to welcome the newbie...just sit back and enjoy.

So you're the guy that put together that pathetic excuse of a web site huh? Just joking.;)

Welcome. Come on in, the water is fine.

Place your seat, and tray in the upright position, turn off all electronic devices,(except your PC), and prepare for takeoff.

Welcome Mr. Sparkplug/Master Webber, enjoy the ride:D .

Welcome. I was emailing to Mike about the Civilian ;)
Oh BTW, I found the knive pages a bit long, everything looks good though. :)

Thanks for the welcome,

And about the knife pages being long, Case knives are easy to split up into catagories but Benchmade is a pain in the butt, so many knives and variations, I have been trying a new way to display Benchmade if you have noticed with the thumbnails page, but still working on a better way to do it. I cna break Benchmade/Spyderco up into groups that all of you would here in the forums would understand if looking for something, but I believe it would make it hard for those people that are new to knives or unfamiliar with these knives, I wanted it to be done in a way that you could just browse through all the knives easy and click the thumbnail to see details and larger pics, This way also made the page load times a bit faster. i try my best to shoot almost all the pics on the site and to keep them high enough resolution and clear enough to see what your buying and enjoy the knives (sadly I sometimes take crappy pics though) anyway Like I said I love imput and ideas so if you see a better way let me know I'll look at it.

Yea and does seem we are partial to Benchmade on the home page, and maybe we are but really it's just we try and get up the new stuff coming in on the front page so people find it faster and get there.

I posted somewhere else to day that I carry a spyderco most of the times because it was a gift, and because of Spyderco's great service to me one time when I managed to melt the blade to a nub at work, so I see my self as partial to "knives" instead of a company.

Thanks guys.

I do notice that the Benchmade has the thumbnails, which is really nice :)
