Hi everyone, my name is Josh, i've been lurking around for about 2 weeks now. Its been a few years since i made a knife but i had a fire fighter buddy that wanted something "utilitarian" a real working knife so this is what i came up with:

I like the shape. I can't figure out what you made it from. Is that heat shrink tubing?

Is that a surface planer for auto body work? I know I've seen those file teeth before. . . .

Its an old "Beaver" brand rasp that i ran across some time ago, dont even remember where i found it now. And yes that is heat shrink, the industrial type. that is what the guy wanted.
