Hey everybody. I signed up a few months ago at the urging of a couple of my buddies. (T.M. Hunt, Murph..anybody know 'em?) And have just taken the big leap..I upgraded my membership so I could post pics with the rest of the cool kids. Who knows, maybe I'll grow my puny collection a little bit while I'm here. So, I just wanted to say Hi and if you DO know those two guys and can't stand 'em, forget I mentioned 'em. Gonna go look through the blades I can't afford now. Seeya.

Well, it may be a little late, but anyone can post pics, regardless of membership, as long as s/he uses an off-site photo storage account (Photobucket, Flickr, etc.).
Still, there are other benefits that come with a paid membership. If you want your new membership status to show up, click on Settings (upper right), then Permission Groups (left side), select the membership group you want to show up on the forum, and hit Update.

Hello, welcome and we're all likely happy to have you in our ranks. So, let me ask the most obvious question. How big is your knife collection and which ones are your most "prized" knives. Even if your prized knife is a no name Chinese one, I'm interested in knowing about it. Going to keep the snobbery to a minimum, or at least try to.

Hey, thanks Guyon. I guess if I'm gonna upgrade, I might as well have my name in gold to show it! And as far as my collection, Ogien, it's a motley assortment of metal dating back to my teen years. I'd be embarrassed to go into detail to you guys in the know. But, a couple things. I just bought my 1st custom last week from my buddy (T.M. hunt) and it's what got me interested in this brand new world. It's the only pic in my album if ya wanna look at it, and I consider it the starting point of my collection effort. Having joined this group I have an idea of what I'd like to acquire, but there's just so much to look at, it's a bit overwhelming. I have lots of cheapie chinese survival knives, a replica of the Cobra knife, a katana, a big dragonslayer sword and all sorts of other nonsense. I'm confident they'd all snap like a twig the instant I tried swinging them at a tree, but it is what it is.
